Tom's art has a strong emphasis on design and bold color. His figural and portrait paintings are contemplative and invite the viewer to be quietly drawn into the painting. He is striving to make his art more personal. He says, "My art is intended to be sensual, poetic and in some way a small look into the soul." He believes that a painting should be a continuous exploration, a continuous revelation that never stops telling you it's secrets.
His work is in many private and corporate collections and in the collections of the Lincoln Museum, Hodgenville, Kentucky and the KentuckyMuseum, Western Kentucky University.
His work is represented by Memphis Marsha's Gallery and Art Classes in Bowling Green, Kentucky and he occasionally teaches watercolor classes and painting on rice paper classes for Memphis Marsha's.
Tom resides in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He received his education at Western Kentucky University (Go Tops!) and the University of Kentucky.
